Healing the person with a genetic illness

Hi everyone, this post is specific to other hypnotherapists and healers, however, I also feel it’s a good read for those who aren’t in the profession.

Enjoy,

Hey everyone,

Sure there will be some genetic dispositions that some are born with. As an ex: Downs syndrome. And there are probably others that are laying dormant but waiting in the wings to become fully realized: Ex: Heart disease and cancer.

Either way, IMO, our jobs as hypnotherapists and healers isn’t to necessarily cure them. Let’s leave that up to the doctors.

Am I saying that it isn’t possible to heal them past genetic dispositions with hypnosis or natural means? Come on, who do you think is writing this post ;). Of course it’s possible.

As I get more into the trenches with my clients and have more clarity of myself, my life and my purpose … I realize that the greatest gift I can give me or my clients is a sense of peace and balance. I know, those are my buzz words lately if you’ve been following me and my postings on here, my blogs and facebook. But I think I’ve gotten here as a result of the momentum I’ve created from so desperately wanting to heal myself and my client’s “genetic dispositions” …. and regression hypnosis, in particular, has been a huge part of helping me cleanse and clear so that I can obtain more clarity for who I am.

Ok, I digress… back to the topic at hand.

So again, I’m not saying one can not heal past genetic dispositions (GP), they can. In fact, for many of us, it’s a must on our way to spiritual clarity. But for some of us, the acceptance of the GP is all the healing we need… and this alone can take away the stress and strife of the GP and help a person live a more “healed” life.

So, just what is Matt rambling on and on about today.. LOL

As “natural” healers, If we make healing the disease or healing the GP our main focus, we will lose touch of the human aspect of our clients.

But if you make healing the person, and help him/her to obtain clarity and peace through hypnosis regression (or whatever means you choose), we work from our hearts and an exchange of compassion and soulful connection is experienced between client and practitioner. THIS IS AMAZINGLY HEALING!… this, coupled with hypnotic regression and hypnosis concepts can help the people that come to you, obtain clarity on his/her own which many times can lead to healing the GP or illness. And even if the GP or illness isn’t healed, you stand a great chance of simply helping the person obtain more peace for whatever they may need to move through. That is healing.

Love

  1. Matt,

This article rings so true to the heart and feet. Only when we are grounded, balanced, can our heart fly and flow.

So often on the journey to healing (ourselves and others), we become so passionate about the goal or the technique, and we forget to stay grounded and balanced. And that’s when we become rigid in one way or another. I have been reminded lately to keep opening up my mind and body. It has brought me a lot of clarity and peace.

At times I was disappointed by how easy we can get off balance. I have now learned to appreciate the adjusting period, to know that there is something there (usually a bad feeling) that guides us the way back. I guess as long as we keep listening to the heart, it will tell us when we are off balance.

Feels like I’m rambling. Since you are rambling, guess I’m allowed too :)

    Love,
    Emily

  2. Thank you Matt and Emily for the insight… It feels true to me that it’s not always about going for the healing… but sometimes the the acceptance of the GP is all the healing we need…

And… I’m wondering, if it’s just layers… acceptance comes first, then keep going… and other healing can happen?

    Love,
    Randy H
